Welcome to Oncogeek.com: Bridging the Gap in Radiation Oncology Education

Greetings, fellow oncologeeks!

As a resident in MD (Radiation Oncology), I have experienced firsthand the unique challenges that come with diving into this complex and ever-evolving field. When I first embarked on this journey, I found myself in a labyrinth of information with few reliable guides to lead the way. The resources were scarce, fragmented, and often elusive, making it difficult to find comprehensive and structured material to aid my studies.

During my first year, the struggle was particularly acute. With only one resident slightly ahead of me, who was himself navigating through the same maze, there was a palpable sense of isolation. The gap between the professors, who were often too busy or inaccessible, and the residents was significant. This left many of us feeling adrift, without a clear direction on how to approach our studies or where to find the resources we needed.

This experience sparked the idea for Oncogeek.com. I realized that what we needed was a centralized hub, a go-to resource where residents and other aspiring oncologists could find structured content tailored to our specific needs. Oncogeek.com aims to bridge this gap by providing meticulously curated notes, PowerPoint presentations, and courses designed to support and enhance your learning journey.
